I had a mixed experience at the resort. While the location near the beach was fantastic and the beach shack was cozy, the overall condition of the unit was quite disappointing. The furnishings were worn, and some amenities were not functioning properly. Prices felt steep for the quality received, but the serene atmosphere and access to nature were definite highlights.

Rooms

The beach shack was clean but definitely showed signs of wear, with uncomfortable furniture and some maintenance issues that need attention.

Allure is a cozy spot for a getaway, nestled among the trees and just a short stroll to the beach. The accommodations were clean and modern, making for a comfortable stay. However, some minor details like lighting and Wi-Fi reception could use improvement. Overall, it offers great value considering the location and amenities available.

Rooms
8.0
The room was well-equipped with a kitchenette that included all the utensils we could need. I really appreciated having a gas BBQ on the balcony. The sleeping area is upstairs, which might not be ideal for everyone, and there's a bit of a quirky layout but it was spacious enough for my needs.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. They were quick to address any issues we had, which made our experience all the better.
Location
10.0
The location was ideal, right across from the beach and close to a playground, making it easy to enjoy the outdoor scenery. Plus, the bus from the ferry stops right out front, which is super convenient.
Dining
7.0
Dining options on-site were a real treat. We enjoyed great coffee and pizzas at the cafe, and we loved the easy access to meal specials at nearby restaurants. Breakfast offerings were a bit sparse, but the sourdough bread we bought was fantastic.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities included a nice heated pool and a small gym, which were enjoyable to use. Having a cafe on-site was a great bonus as well.

I had a pleasant stay at this resort, with a spacious and clean space that felt more luxurious than a typical shack. The location is unbeatable, right across from the beach, and I loved seeing koalas in the trees. However, some areas of the resort could use an update, and my experience with the dishwasher being out of order wasn't ideal. Overall, it's a great spot for a family-friendly vacation with plenty of activities nearby.

Rooms
7.0
The room was large and spacious, very clean, but some amenities like the dishwasher were out of order. The furnishings seemed a bit worn, suggesting the place could benefit from a refresh.

I enjoyed my stay at Allure, where the shacks were modern, clean, and offered a peaceful setting among the trees, just a short walk from the beach. The facilities, including a heated pool and gym, were nice touches, but my experience was marred by some noise issues from neighbors and a lack of adequate lighting in the unit. Overall, it was a great getaway, although it could be improved in terms of supervision in shared spaces and comfort in the rooms.

Rooms

The shacks were modern, clean, and comfortable, though I found the lighting somewhat dim and the upstairs loft setup might not suit everyone.

The on-site cafe served decent food and coffee, but options were limited, so I'd recommend bringing your own groceries for more variety.

We had a lovely time at Allure on North Stradbroke Island, enjoying the modern and clean shacks nestled in the bush, just steps from the beach. The facilities, including the heated pool, were good, and we appreciated the convenience of being close to the Bowling Club and Straddie Beach Hotel for meals. However, the lighting in our unit was a downside, and there was some disturbance from non-guests using the pool area, which detracted from the overall experience.

Rooms
8.0
The units are modern, clean, and self-contained with a kitchenette. However, the upstairs sleeping area might not suit everyone, and the lighting was a bit dull.
Service
